Appreciation letter from Harlem Link Charter School in New York.
School Board Member: A Show that Children of All Ages Can Appreciate
Excerpt from a letter from John Freddick, Founding board member Harlem Link Charter School in New York:

“I have enjoyed going to Radio City Music Hall since the early 1950’s but this was the most enjoyable show I have seen, in my lifetime.

“Students from our school enjoyed the show so much, you can see this from the writing and artwork they did for homework. Students were talking by the story in each act they saw. They loved the high kicks in some of the dances also the colors and dress that the performers had on. The parents of the students loved it as well.

“As an educator point of view, the show gave students a chance to see what people of China wear in ancient times and show some of the history of the Chinese culture. This is a show that school children’s of all ages can appreciate, learn and fit into their curriculum.” » Read the letter

Stanford Professor: Music of Erhu Went Straight into My Heart like an Arrow
Dr. Patrick Hunt, Professor of Classical Literature, Stanford University

“The program truly lived up to its billing. It was spectacular. The way that the performance was done was of the highest professional caliber. And the music of the Erhu was so beautiful that it went straight into my heart like an arrow. The most beautiful performance I think I have ever seen. The world owes a great debt to Chinese culture. I don’t think we can ever repay it. But it’s wonderful to be able to share in this heritage. And in my humble opinion, the gifts that were expressed tonight were truly magnificent.”
