Mr. Li Zhong, President of NTDTV, said that the singing competition, along with the following competition series are the continuation of NTDTV's Chinese New Year Spectacular and Classic Dance Competition. "Our mission is to present—through art—the true, benevolent and beautiful inner meaning of China's 5,000-year culture, helping to facilitate the cultural exchange between the East and West," said Mr. Li.

Besides martial arts, traditional Chinese costume and the Chinese cuisine, Mr. Li said the competition series will also include western arts and culture such as piano, violin, photography and realism oil painting.
